Sports Chiropractic in Kansas City
Whether you compete at a high level, play in a weekend league, or simply enjoy staying active, aches and tightness can make it harder to do the things you enjoy. Our Kansas City chiropractors work with athletes of different ages, sports, and activity levels.
At Fountain of Life Family Chiropractic, we take time to learn what’s bothering you, how you stay active, and what you want to get back to doing. From there, we can determine whether chiropractic care is appropriate and tailor your visits to your needs.
A Personalized Approach for Active Patients
Sports can place plenty of demands on muscles and joints. In our office, we commonly see athletes with sprains, strains, muscle tightness, soreness, and joint stiffness.
Your chiropractor will evaluate your concerns rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. Depending on what we find, your visit may include hands-on chiropractic adjustments along with other services available in our office.
And you don’t need to be a professional athlete to come in. We see active patients at different levels and adapt our approach to the individual rather than the sport they play.
Adding Red Light Therapy to Your Plan
Red light therapy is another option available at the practice. Our office has two full-body red light therapy beds, which may be incorporated into visits for active patients experiencing muscle soreness or recovering from a sports-related strain or sprain.
Our practice features the same type of red light therapy beds used by the Kansas City Chiefs. Depending on your needs, red light therapy may be used alongside chiropractic adjustments as part of your individualized plan.
If an injury falls outside what we can address, such as a suspected fracture, we’ll let you know when further medical evaluation is needed.
Chiropractic That Fits the Way You Move
Your sport, activity level, and goals are personal, so your chiropractic visits should be too. Our chiropractors adjust their approach based on what they find, how you’re feeling, and what makes sense for you rather than putting every athlete through the same routine.
Get Back to the Activities You Enjoy
Don’t let an ache or strain leave you wondering what to do next. Contact Fountain of Life Family Chiropractic to schedule an evaluation and find out whether sports chiropractic aligns with your needs.
